淡水位於台灣新北市西北部。

淡水河下游北岸，北與東北鄰三芝區，

西北濱台灣海峽。

歷史上西班牙曾登陸台灣，

並在台灣北部建立海上貿易

中繼基地的起點。

早期淡水區因港口而發展興盛，

市街區一帶設有許多具有歷史文化意義

的廟宇。

清朝末年在淡水開港後，

成為臺灣的重要國際港口，

吸引大量外籍商行、傳教士

進入淡水區開發，

並且設有不少西洋建築，

特殊異國風情的文化景觀。

淡水之美，難以言喻。

寧靜或澎湃

似乎都能瞭解人們的心情。

Tamsui is located in the northwest of 

New Taipei City, Taiwan.

The lower reaches of the Tamsui River 

are on the north bank, adjacent to Sanzhi District in the north and northeast, 

and the Taiwan Strait in the northwest.

Historically, Spain has landed in Taiwan.

And establish maritime trade in northern Taiwan.
