True love

Ying Chen photography

People say " Love is blind “

As far as I’m concerned,

it is ignoring the worldly reality...

from the sincerity.

True love is pure and clean.

Beyond ethics and moral is the essence

of pollution and hurt love.

As time goes by,

people can't keep unchanged

all the time.

But if two people in love

change and grow in a good direction,

I believe they can always stay in love

with each other.

If passion and love was fading

that’s because the evaluation of the lover

has changed.

If the values are too different,

it’s  really hard to be together for a long time.

True love is worth your efforts to maintain.

Cherish each other, as a long stream

of water that is endless.

Galeries nationales du Grand Palais - Les Bohèmes

Ying Chen photography

  Bohemiens en voyage

Vancent Van Gogh

“ If you don't know where to go,

just remember where you

 came from. “

this philosophical statement

was the prelude of the  BOHEMES  in Galeries nationales du Grand Palais.

It seems that the raining haze outside

extends into the hall,

the gray and pale paintings explained

the vicissitudes of wandering tribes around the world

and working on the spot.

BOHEMES  originated in the 15th century,

people from Gypsy in Czech ( Eastern Europe ).

An ethnic group that wanders around the world

and lived  without the constraints of general

social customs.

There were also some artists.

A self-exile, unfettered spirit and lifestyle.

There are many different legends in ancient and modern times. However, they all have a consistent view of their unfettered and easy-going nature.

In 1845,

Many artistic literati praised for

the bohemes their tears and blood, freedom,

and romance lives.

Of course, there were also depictions of the degeneration of the life of the homeless

who were far from the shackles of social norms.

A painting of Achill Zo in 1861,

family of eight, a horse, mule

with the family

carrying all the belongings

and walking mighty in the mountains.

Sky blue and every face was glowing...

So that the previous haze inside room

was wiped out.

It was a portrayal of the wanderers

who were detached from misery and helplessness

to find themselves and proud of their own way of life.

Moreover,

a painting of Vincent Van Gogh

( two years before death )

completely subverted the world's impression

of wanderers - believe  that they cause social chaos, wandering around and stealing.

However, we saw a family relaxing

around the caravan.

The soft and bright tones and peaceful figures

will stay in the painting forever.

Whether it's our own choice

or forced to,

life depends on our life attitude and values. Benevolence leads us go to the light.

Evil makes us fall into the dark abyss.

It is the eternal truth.

Musée National Picasso -

Ying Chen photography

 Guernica de Picasso -

Located at rue de Thorigny,

in a 17th century building -

Musée National Picasso

is the richest public collection on Picasso in the world.

After many years of maintenance,

it is presented in front of the world

with a completely new look.

The structure of the museum remains elegant,

but the overall environment gives people a simple, clean and solemn feeling.

Pablo Picasso was born in Spain.

He began to paint when he was very young.

And he moved to Paris in 1900.

Early creative realism.

And then the blue and rise periods, cubism, neoclassicism and surrealism...

But he said :

“ I don't know neither abstractionism nor cubism,

I only know to create, create, and create. “

He let creativity fly freely and his work shows

the process of his life.

His self portrait in 1901,

the whole dull blue and bleak eyes...

The works at the time of poverty

mostly presented melancholic tones.

Guernica, a small town

of Spain has been attacked by

the Germans in 1937.

Picasso drew a picture 《 GUERNICA 》

( cubism, surrealism and symbolism )

with indignation.

Gray-gray tones of cows, horses, people, things,

and all the pain and despair.

Protest against violence with paintbrush.

Sketches, prints, paste paintings, relief paintings...

His works also have a childlike style

from the complex to the simple.

Perhaps it was his ardent desire

to return to the original state.

The wonderful and diverse creations

have created his extraordinary life...

Picasso is a model,

the most prestigious artist in modern times.

New Taipei City Yingge Ceramics Museum

Various events held, exhibition and project-learning

for appealing the public's interest

and care for ceramic culture,

and the development of ceramic industry

of Yingge Dist.

Propagating modern pottery creation,

and promote of international exchanges.

Pottery is ceramic art,

is the traditional craft of mankind.

The earliest pottery was only used for

 people's livelihood,

but then it gradually became an art.

Pottery, painting and sculpture are juxtaposed

as plastic arts.

A summer day in 2017,

I came to the museum

to see the creations of Mr. Liou, Chen Chou.

He obtained the Ceramics Achievement Award.

He creates mostly about "Land" and "Nature".

Shows his love for the land with clay

and praise for nature.

His formation and color of works

is simplicity and naturalness.

Simple and pure, full of zen.

Went back to the main entrance hall,

the perfect ceramic creation reappears.

Especially every Buddha and Bodhisattva statue...

I am deeply moved by this solemn silence.
