畢卡索生於1881年 (西班牙)
幼時即開始作畫。
年輕時移居巴黎。
早期創作寫實，
而後的藍色時期、玫瑰時期
立體、新古典、超現實⋯
他本人卻說 ：
「 我不懂什麼是抽象派，
什麼是立體派，我只知道創造，
創造，再創造 ! 」
他讓創意自由飛翔。
而他的作品呈現出其成就一生的過程。

1937年西班牙的小城鎮
格爾尼卡遭到德軍的攻擊，
令畢卡索憤慨的畫了一幅

以畫筆抗議暴力。
