南京牛首山佛頂宮
是一座現代佛教藝術殿堂，
位於江蘇省南京市江寧區。
供奉全世界唯一的
釋迦牟尼佛頂骨舍利。
佛頂宮依山而建。
由地下6層（利用廢棄礦坑 ）
和地上3層，
融合了現代建築技術與佛教文化，
內部分為禪境大觀、舍利大殿
和舍利藏宮。
內部主要展現佛陀的一生，
中心有臥佛與禪境花園，
呈現釋迦牟尼佛成佛的意境。
北宋（公元1011年），演化大師
可政在宋真宗的支持下，
於長干寺原址重建寺院和九級寶塔。
將佛頂真骨安奉在真身塔内。
2008年7月，考古人员在南京
大報恩寺遺址地下
取出了長干寺真身塔的鐵容器。
同年11月，考古人員由鐵容器內
取出阿育王塔和大量文物。
2011年9月，完成《天闕藏地宫，
雙塔出五禪 - 牛首勝境》策畫方案，
確定了佛頂骨舍利安奉的方式
與地點。
安置於牛首山佛頂宮的地下
舍利大殿，日常供奉的是
依真身一比一製作的「影骨」
供遊客參觀，
真身舍利僅在特定時日
開放民眾瞻仰禮拜。
舍利子（ Sarira ）的形成，
在佛教觀點中是高僧、修行者
長期戒、定、慧修行成就的
功德結晶。
並非單純的物質現象。
是佛法精神的象徵。

Buddha Peak Palace
It is a modern Buddhist art hall,

And the Sarira Tibetan Palace.
The interior mainly shows the life of Buddha.
There are lying Buddha and Zen Garden in the centre,
it presents the artistic conception of Shakyamuni Buddha becoming a Buddha.

the temple and the ninth-level pagoda were rebuilt on the original site of Changgan Temple.
The true bone of the Buddha's Peak is enshrined in the True Body Tower.
In July 2008, archeologists in Nanjing
A cella appeared in the ruins of Dabaoen Temple.
Took out the iron container of the Real Body Tower of Changgan Temple.
