清明節 - Qingming Festival

 

清光緒年間的《燕京歲時記》內的

《歲時百問》中說：

「 萬物生長此時，皆清潔而明淨，

故謂之清明。」

清明是在農曆中第5個節氣的第1天。

清明節的時間為春分後的第15天，

即4月4日、5日或6日的其中1天。

清明節的傳統 -

是祭祀祖先。

禮拜祖先

是珍重生命倫理，

感念先人恩德。

也是對先人的敬重與緬懐。

無論是前往墓地 、家中

或是在心中，

追思、感恩、祈禱 ⋯

皆能告慰祖先，

啓動心靈能量的交流。

 

春暖花開之際勿忘慎終追遠。

告別過往，迎向未來，

也是清明時節的內涵。

"Records of the Years of Yanjing"

in the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty,

it is said in the "Hundred Questions 

at the Age" : 

"When all things grow, 

they are clean and clear, 

so they are called clear."

Qingming Festival is the first day 

of the fifth solar term, 

in the lunar calendar.
