（ 1775 - 1817 ）

享譽世界的英國小說家

是我很欣賞的作家。

有六部著作出版：

1811《 理性與感性 》

（Sense and Sensibility )

1813《 傲慢與偏見 》（Pride and Prejudice )

1812年~1814《 曼斯菲爾莊園 》

 （Mansfield Park )

1816 《 愛瑪 》 ( Emma )

1817 《 諾桑覺寺 》（ Northanger Abbey )

1818《 勸導 》 （ Persuasion ）

她短暫42年的人生

歷經理想主義變遷至浪漫主義時期。

以敏銳的觀察力洞察生活各個層面的

人性情感關係。

機智優雅的文釆、

細膩描寫周遭的日常

是她擅長的風格。

《理性與感性》與《傲慢與偏見》

帶給她至高評價的同時，

她著手《 曼斯菲爾莊園 》 

對於長期久以來的

奴隸制度、種族不公、

貧困家庭生活的窘境

與莊園內上流社會發生

道德淪喪的種種景象⋯

藉由文字啓發人心的警世之作，

結果沒有得到積極的迴響與評論。

她並未因普羅大眾的鄉愿沉默

而灰心。

奧斯汀為那個時代發聲，

突破當時文藝界女性受到的歧視與侷限，

繼續勇敢的創作。

她在《傲慢與偏見》書中的名言：

「 我有一種固執，

我不能被別人的意圖嚇到。 

每當有人試圖欺負我時，

我的勇氣會增長。 」

時至今日，她依然活在人們心中。

她的著作也將隨著時代巨輪

流轉於世。

I admire her very much.

Her six novels have been published :

1811 《 Sense and Sensibility 》

1813 《 Pride and Prejudice 》

1812~1814  《 Mansfield Park 》

1816 《 Emma 》

1817  《 Northanger Abbey 》

1818 《 Persuasion 》

In her short 42 years life

had experienced the change of idealism 

to the period of romanticism.

Insight into the human and emotional relationships at all levels of life with 

keen observation.

Witty and elegant writing,

delicately describe the daily life around, 

she excels in this style.

《 Rationality and Sensibility 》and 

《 Pride and Prejudice 》 -

At the same time as giving her the highest praise,

she started 《 Mansfield Manor 》

For the long-term

slavery, racial injustice,

the dilemma of poor family life

and occurs with the upper class in the manor,

all kinds of scenes of moral degradation...

Through words to enlighten people's hearts.

The result did not receive a positive response and comments.

She was not discouraged by the hypocritical silence of the general public.

Austin spoke out for that era,

breakthrough the discrimination 

and limitations of women 

in the literary and artistic world at that time,

“ I have a stubbornness, 

I cannot be frightened by the will of others. Whenever anyone tries to bully me,

 my courage grows. “

she is still alive in people's hearts.
