穿越巴黎的塞納河上

有三十七座橋，

其中之一的藝術橋 Pont des Arts

掛滿各式各樣的鎖

令人歎為觀止。

其造成的沉重負擔，

引起許多市民抗議。

經過廣泛檢討，

如今已經全面拆除這些情鎖，

以期解除這座橋面臨的危機。

愛情鎖的流行

據說源於一本小說，

男主角將寫上名字的鎖

緊扣在橋架上，

鑰匙則丟入河中，

祈願愛侶永不分離。

此後許多情侶蜂擁至此，

樂此不疲寫字告白於鎖，

且牢牢套在大橋護網鐡絲上⋯

如今遭拆除

豈不幻滅？

其實人生聚散有時，

相愛時當相知相惜。

然而「愛別離苦」

的無常，無奈，

是我們需瞭悟的人生八苦之一

（ 人生八苦 ： 生、老、病、死、愛別離、怨憎、

求不得、五陰熾盛 - 色、受、想、行、識五蘊，

如果其中一種或幾種過於強盛，

將會像烈火燃燒般炙烤身心，失去原有的清淨。）

人生所有的苦皆因執著而來，

如果能夠看透萬物因緣

放下執著，捨棄非必要的固執，

才能遠離痛苦。

心靈才有可能清淨自在。

“ Le Pont des Arts “ ( The Bridge of the Arts )

is one of 37 bridges on the 

Seine River crossing Paris. 

Full with all kinds of lock was most impressive.

The heavy burden it caused many citizens 

to protest. 

After extensive review, these love bonds have now been completely  

removed in order to relieve the crisis facing the bridge. 

The popularity of love locks

 is said to have originated from a novel. 

The actor fastened the lock with names on the bridge

 and threw the key into the river,

wish lover never separate. 

Since then, many couples flocked to this place, 

happy to write and confess to the lock to

set tightly on the bridge wire.

Is it disillusioned now for it is demolished? 

In fact, there are times when life is gathered 

and scattered. 

When in love, we should cherish each other.

However, the bitterness of parting 

sometime is impermanence, helpless. 

We need to realize 

there are eight sufferings in life ( birth, old age, sickness, death,

separation of love, resentment, unwillingness, 

and the five aggregates of form -

feeling, thinking, behavior and consciousness.

if one or many of them are too strong 

will roast your body and mind like a fire, 

losing your original purity. )

All the suffering in life comes from attachments. 

If you can see through the causes of all things 

and let go of attachments, 

abandon unnecessary stubbornness,

then you can get away from suffering

and feel inner peace.
