位於苗栗三義鄉廣勝村的三義木雕博物館
是台灣唯一以木雕為主題的博物館。
包括木雕藝術起源，
雕塑歷代風貌，
台灣木雕藝術轉型與展望，
建築家具，寺廟宗教，
當代藝術展，
木雕藝術特展⋯
此外還有許多專題陳列室與藝廊。
佇足於這些完美的創作前，
感佩藝術家慷慨賦予每一塊枯木
永恆不朽的生命。
走在歷代雕塑風貌
與台灣木雕藝術的展示迴廊，
我們緩緩進入多采多姿的木雕藝術世界。
登上二樓，
別具一格的建築家具，
木雕工坊，南島民族木雕⋯
目不暇給。
來到寺廟佛像展示空間。
仰望慈悲莊嚴的佛菩薩聖像，
世間的一切似乎都靜止在此
莊嚴肅穆中。
三樓與四樓的當代藝術特展，
靈巧的雕工與創意令人嘆為觀止。
走在各國不同主題的作品
與台灣本土木雕創作的藝廊，
深深體認到 - 不同人文經過藝術的交流，
在一處共同發光發亮，
也促進彼此的瞭解⋯
藝術家的努力與博物館的規劃
都有莫大的貢獻。
博物館周圍的山城，
有各具特色的藝術創作工作者。
木雕、編織、染布、繪畫、書法、
手工藝示範⋯
藝術人文融入大自然的生活態度
令人仰慕。
藝術創作給予世人的能量，
猶如一望無際的藍天那般
弗遠無界。
A sunny day
I took a walk to the countryside with my family.

I admire the artist's generous giving to every piece of dead wood

we slowly entered the colourful world of wood carving art.
At the second floor,
a unique architectural furniture,
wood carving workshop,

I'm overwhelmed.
Come to the temple Buddha statue display space.
Looking up at the compassionate and solemn Buddha and Bodhisattva statue,
everything in the world seems to be still here. Dignified and serious.
Contemporary art special exhibitions on the third and fourth floors,
the dextrous carving and creativity are amazing.
Works on different themes in various countries
with the art gallery of Taiwan's civil sculpture creation,
I deeply realise that different humanities shine together in one place through artistic communication.

The efforts of artists and the planning of the museum
All of them have contributed greatly.
The mountain city around the museum,

Wood carving, weaving, dyeing cloth, painting, calligraphy, handicraft demonstration... Art and humanities are integrated into nature's attitude towards life.
